I have bought these 10 x 10 canopies, both frame and tarp are very low quality, frame broke within a few weeks with mild wind and tarp is very thin, I returned them and bought the academy 10x10...

See what I wrote above — all the beach “regulars” I know tend to go with at least Coleman, from what I’ve seen. I can vouch that their quality is far better all around. For what a weeklong beach...

Yep, that's what i think too. I'm not debating that. I'm responding to someone who said the straight is better than the slanted which which has a wider base.

Great deal. I got these on the last Walmart sale when it was $29.99 for the 10x10 tens. I ended up getting four of them since its cheaper to buy a whole new one than just a canopy replacement. ...

From a structural perspective, slanted is more stable than a straight leg, against side forces. But that's purely the math, meaning the exact same canopy will hold against more pressure with slanted...

For those that have this, how large is the bag when the canopy is stored away? And could this be secured via peg on 2 of the sides while the other 2 sides are on the patio? My patio is 10' x 20',...

If you had read the comments you wouldn't have asked that question. The canopy has a 10 X 10 foot print. The top isn't 10 X 10.

We use QuikShade 10 x 10 straight leg units nearly every weekend. Or oldest one is 7+ years old and we finally had to replace the top. They are heavier than slant leg units but give you a full 10 x...

Would you say it's definitely on its last "slanted leg"?
Post #128423242 added 06-23-2019 6:05 PM by MellowFriction9922 in Deal Talk
I suppose that the slant leg is more helpful than normal, otherwise, why is it slant? Hope it can last well.

Interesting. What is its size when folded up?
Post #128530663 added 06-28-2019 6:13 AM by Renard in Deal Talk
It takes up 10x10 space. The very first post reminds that it's a slant leg with smaller shade than the size of the base.
Post #128429764 added 06-24-2019 4:41 AM by wheels498 in Deal Talk
They make these slanted legs because the materials are so thin it would collapse under the weight of rain if it tried to stand up strait.
