I see a hyatt offer for the first time on amex. For hyatt place/house. 250. 75 back We use hyatt A LOT. Transfer chase ultimate rewards to our hyatt account as needed.

I signed up for the offer today and then I contacted CS to see if they could apply the $40 credit retroactively and I got shot down. I had stayed at a Marriott last weekend.

Usually your larger hotels will carry Giftcards however many have gone away from it. It is mainly a property decision at that point so there is no way to tell by brand or ownership or management...

As long as billing is done in name of marriott . The offer would be honored. However if booked from eg expedia and they charge u the money then this will not be honored

I have never seen an Amex offer for Hyatt. Unless you have to stay at the Hyatt, better off with a Marriott property as points are easier to use and worth more.
