I concur with your post. However, I do not have credit cards anymore. I use Visa GCs at Costco which helps me stay on budget and not overspend!

Agree, but some people think that giving cash is "tacky" and that it shows a little more "thought" and sincerity giving gift cards instead. Seems like an artificial distinction to me.

Won't count towards premier, I just pay $50 for the plus account and get 20 carts per month for a year. Nothing to buy at staples anymore without rebates.

Also 25% and on both my Chase cards. Tempting... I use these for in-app purchases for games and things that I don't want linked to my actual CC. The only problem is keeping track of the balance.
