Grabbed one of these after the POS GE unit I bought before it died after 15 months. Installation is a pain like any over the range but so far so good. Runs pretty quietly as well.

It can with a little modification (I have done this once with an over-the-range oven where nothing similar was available in a countertop version), but why bother? You can get a better countertop...

I'd take Whirlpool/Kitchenaid over GE any day (although I do own several GE appliances). In my experience, GE appliances are less reliable and parts are more expensive.

There's a 1.9CF model on sale for $250 that has the moisture sensor for reheating. I don't know that it's worth the extra $50 to me though...convince me. P.S.: What happened to the Lowe's coupon...
