Just finished installing mine.. the box was missing all of the hardware, but Chamberlain had it delivered within 7 days. Apparently it has a port for an external battery backup unit on the bottom.

This is normal price. I paid similar price for liftmaster 3 years ago. Light is garbage, but wall mounted motor is awesome, not very powerful, but clean looking and quite.
