That’s pretty lame on Sony’s part, but the one solution I can think of is to make a second account and purchase it on there. You can have the second account on your PS4 but still download and play...

I haven't played them since release, but my guess is that the gameplay will hold up and still be fun, but the "xtreem badazz" tone of the games will either be eyeroll-inducing or hilariously corny.
