Why would you need the amp with these headphones? The M30X is an easy pair of cans to drive. I would forgo this combo and grab the M40X.

bought one two years ago. the Headphone Amplifier is essentially no use for me. The sound quality is good, but the wire is too long and too thick for daily use, now it collect dust on the shelf.
