If you hold down the middle button (5-10 sec), it'll eventually turn off the device. However, you can still use the USB port to charge your phone.

I use chanel 88.91 FM1 in San Diego and it works great without any interference. I think it depends on the chanel you choose.

Thanks for the link. Yes reviews look good. Though doesn't have aux port, that fast charging V3 and then the very much soughed by me, the Battery charge voltage display makes it a perfect choice....
