I hate this torch. Cycling through the modes is a PITA. The only good way to do modes is a separate controller. They say it has a mode memory but I find it very unreliable.

They will replace it, just get the SN off of the flashlight and head to there website and fill out form. They don’t require you to send it back, they just send a new one.
