I have those urlhasbeenblocked -- nice mic, but you have to either use them together or only with the right ear. That means you can't rotate between left and right to keep the batteries charged.

AAC > Aptx quality. Latency is just lower on the latter, but the codec isn't universally used. Devices with dual channel SBC don't need other codecs as badly.

Yes, Amazon makes it easy to return. I have had them about a week and a half and can that the mic is ok. The mic is much better than the Anker Liberty Air, which was surprisingly not good.

Got mine yesterday. Sound is good, but they are not disconnected after put in the case. Also Bluetooth range very short. I don't think it's Bluetooth 5.0.
