The "transfer" directory is only for ps1 games. It's working perfectly as intended. You need to play retro games thru RetroArch

It does have network functionality.. and you can get badges using retroachivements.org... basically a retro nexgen console.

I bought one to mod. It isn't super hard and it runs n64 better than a pi b3+ or nes/SNES classic. Much harder to get running. Honestly if you are going to mod a box to hook up to your TV, you can't...

Put them in the transfers folder. They will then be transferred to the games folder after you plug the usb in to the ps classic.
