I got about half my X1C stated battery life with just notes in word and web browsing so I don't believe the number either.

IMHO, you should consider the performance impact to Intel processors of all the major vulnerabilities like Zombieload, Meltdown, Spectre, etc. AMDs weren't impacted by Zombieload and had less impact...

We haven't seen anything really from the laptop lineup in terms of performance, but judging by the desktop, I'd expect the laptops to fully blow away intel chips. Not to mention the slightly better...
