This thing is only long enough for a compact car. I have 2017 ridgeline, 2009 Odyssey and 2013 X5 BMW. None line up, the jack was too short...miss the lift point.

Absolute not! Your confusing holding strength and lifting strength. The hydraulic pumps are not rated to lift that amount of weight. I purchased the 5000 at Costco last year and love it. Cheers
