I have been to Rome 4 times all for at least 1 week. Once solo, once with family, once with toddlers and once leading a group. There is one thing I recommend as an absolute must that you won't hear...

All valid points. All negated by using your head. Your friend had his wallet in his back pocket? Did he research anything? I don't want to use an insult, but there are words for people like that....

Personally loved Milan. Food and cultural significance wasn't on par with some other cities (Florence, etc) but I liked the younger feel to it as well as the shopping.

sadly the fare doesn't include the seat fare... still a good deal, but you must carry on your luggage for this price. willing to do that, not big deal but a lot of caveats to this deal.

I spent 3 and a half days in Rome. I went to a few big European cities a few years ago, but since this deal has you flying in and out of Rome, visiting other cities besides Rome (with the possible...

Does anyone have any familiarity with SWISS airlines? Trying to book, but those seat costs add up to almost normal price... Not really saving money

I dont think there is a refund. When you buy airline tickets you're pretty much locked. Only way is if you have travel insurance and with those, I keep reading that only if you're sick or someone in...

Extremely good deal! If you plan carefully for 5 days, you should be able to fit everything in a carry on suitcase. If I hadn't been to Rome already, I would be buying tickets now!

Rome is overrated and Italy is expensive. You've been warned.
Post #130431313 added 09-13-2019 2:11 PM by fuberwil in Deal Talk
To each their own. Some people place religious and historical significance higher than others. I'd say the only city in Italy that's overrated is Venice and Naples. Everywhere else is amazing.

Different for everyone. Amalfi coast is fantastic. We spent 4 days in Positano in an AirBnB in mid May and had the place to ourselves before it blew up for the Summer.
