I consider that also... But went this route cause of the 1yr manufacturer warranty... Vs 30 days. So many pros and cons to weigh. Then add in the mixed reports on firmware... this is a pure dice...

I would say your safe bet is to buy the renewed one on Amazon for $209. Their renewed guarentee is great. I can assure you that the battery specs on the renewed are not what they should be new...
