HDMI 2.1 in GPUs is at least a year off. You can wait forever or just buy what you want- a single GPU isn't going to drive any current display at 4k/120Hz anyways, and SLI is pretty much dead...

I just got the card yesterday and I totally agree! I went from struggling at 50 - 60 fps @ medium settings to 70 - 80 fps @ ultra settings! I'm a happy camper.

I went from 770 SLI to 2080 Ti (I have the reference got it at launch) and it was amazing. I'm playing Borderlands 3 currently as well and the card runs this game beautifully maxed out.
