You sure you got a 1080 laptop? Because that's a steal for 1200 bucks, especially in 2016. The 1080 is still faster than the 1660 ti in this laptop. Also, this is one of the cheapest 17" 1660...

You could snatch a 1tb ssd for ~$80 easily during sales that happen frequently and upgrade down the line yourself. This is a very very good deal. Anyone in the market for a 17" gaming laptop would be...

Are there no under 15" portable, actual light laptops that have a dedicated GPU that aren't bulky and tacky looking? Is the only option a Surface Book 2? Wouldn't want to bring something like this...

Should I get this or wait until Black Friday and hope for something better? Truth be told, I’d rather be in the ~800 price range, but this is probably a tad more future proof than something in...

I've got an MSI 17.3" GE72 from 2.5 years ago. It has a terrible faulty trackpad, and the hinge cracked from being too tight (and then my niece jumped on it). I've super glued the hinges and it's...

It’s automatic. Costco also offers full tech support through their “concierge” service for 2 years from date of purchase, and apparently the techs are really good (Costco also makes it a point that...

Honestly I'd expect a 1TB SSD and a higher res screen at this price point, but perhaps we'll see this by BF.

There never seem to be many 17 inch laptops on BF, and the ones that do come up are terrible low end units. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I look every year and never find anything that's...

I agree. Plus even the likes of Linus and others have said, they could hardly tell that much difference from a 1080p or 4k small scale, for gaming, despite running games >100fps. The other downside...

Recommending in a deal, that someone should spend MORE money is absurd. I agree that it is not the best of deals, but it is a good one nevertheless, backed by Costco warranty. Said differently,...
