Can you post the transaction description? Your pump shows up in the app because you linked your card to your account when you added the card, not bc of the offer. Usually amex tracks offer through...

It all depends on the category the charge is put into. Give it a test and see if the app charge is classified as gas. I know Mobile app is classified as gas on Amex.

The app actually worked pretty good for up until the very end. I found the pump number, selected it, selected my payment method, then hit "submit" or whatever they call it , and then it just said...

Its recommended to use the Fuel that your car is rated for. It would probably be OK if they just did it once or every so often, but its not optimal in the long run.

To add a data point of sorts. I live right by a BP and stopped there this afternoon. The Amex was added to the app, I am good to go. I activate the pump via the app, and it crashes, repeatedly....

I just saw this pop up on my Amex offers, and thought it was some stupid phone app, but just happened to look closer and see it was actually a BP/Amaco gas app! This is much more useful to me ....

Around we have alot, Well we use too. Most of the BP's are also circle K stores. Over the last month these stores have been removing all the BP off these stores. Anybody know why??

Used the app successfully yesterday to pay with my registered Amex card and got the .20 cents off. Will keep an eye out for the credit on my Amex account. BP app worked flawlessly start to finish...

I had the same issue. You might be putting in the wrong Amex security code. You need to put in the 3 digit number at the back, not the 4 digit number in the front. It worked for me when I did that.

I couldnt add my Amex to the BPme app :-( I called customer service, they said it's a known issue that might get fixed in the next app update.
