You can consider iMessage is more like WhatsApp message (but only between iDevices) which uses pure data and no text messages (i.e. wireless carrier doesn't know/count this message as text message)....

I use a tracfone exclusively for android auto. Hook it up and forget about it. Android auto starts right up when the car does. Uses very little data.

I asked Tracfone and they said you have 60 days to activate from date of purchase. Others here have said that is BS and they could activate after the 60 days. I saw nothing in the ebay listing...
