The duty cycle (unless it has changed) is 50%. If it's running non-stop for a long time, it could become damaged. That said, I've seen this particular model run flat out well in excess of its rating...

the issue with this is that it will take a while to fill the tank and be very loud the whole time. nothing wrong with it tho.
edit: forget about the loud part, just noticed this isn't a cheap dry...

There is also some decent "Open box" compressors on this site which would save quite a bit of $ from buying one that was "new in sealed box"

Definitely. I bought this for my framing jobs (I also have a small Senco 1gal for trim) but the 2hp motor is probably a bit overkill for a 2.6 gallon tank tbh.
