I haven’t used the dcl044 but that one is magnetic, small, 360degree flexible, 160lumens meant for small spaces. Just depends on use case. I have the DCL050 listed here and love it.

Can never have too many lights. If you have the 20v/60v DeWalt line and don't have this light you need to pull the trigger.

Depends which flashlight. There is the DCL040 which is 110lumen and 120degree pivot.

That’s my experience with it too. Very tight focused beam. Disappointed it’s magnets don’t hold it well too, especially with anything bigger than a 2ah battery but even then, it’s tenuous.
