What made you buy a C555? Aren't they pretty much a 5500-2 with an antibacterial sprayed HEPA for $200+?

This is totally accurate. We have 5500s in two rooms and it’s impossible to sneak out a fart without the damn things going on high and outing the guilty party. They really do work.

I have a 5500 and C300, I assume this will fit fine. I bought a well reviewed 3rd party for the c300 and seems okay, but wouldn't mind OEM for the 5500 (which i assume works fine, I dont have 5500-2).
