Thumbs down, Netgear Nighthawk routers are bad products. Wifi regularly drops, router needs to be reset regularly, etc. I have a $200 nighthawk and it's worse than a $50 no-name wifi router....

That’s weird because all of ours work. My in law, my brother in law, and I have the r6700v2 and everything is working fine. The signals penetrated the walls a lot better than the ASUS we had.

the only router from netgear i'd recommend is the x4s solely based on raw performance. however, other routers have better firmwares that include things like VPN client support.
