There is another slickdeal for the updated skinny one that is a 4 pack for $40. I'd probably just go that route. I'm hoping black friday pops up a deal on them. I could use some more.

Not always, if you have something simple like a clock radio, or a very flat plug you can fit two items. Source: have this exact set up in a few locations in my house.

I think it's 2015 But yeah this was an ok deal for somebody just wanting a single plug. I don't like how bulky they are. If anyone's looking to buy in bulk though they run close to 11 dollars...

Technically they do not take up both outlet, but you need to find a plug skinny enough to fit in the bottom if this is on the top.
