The Dewalt stuff is better, but it does not mean that the Ryobi stuff is not good. Look at what else is offered with each brand, if one or the other offers a tool that you will need / want then go...

If I'm at Lowes tomorrow I can check the box to see the model of impact driver they included. But since it's not likely to be the new Atomic or a brushless model it seems likely to be the DCF885B.

I'm a handy homeowner and I've been thinking of changing my tools from Ryobi to Dewalt. I was thinking of going brushless, but the price of this set and number of tools included is really compelling....

Pretty solid price with each tool being around $57. Consider the bag, batteries, and charger free. Perfect starter for new homeowner. The only downside is that the 2ah batteries get crunched in...

Only downside to this set is the DCD771 is their cheapest drill. It’s pretty anemic. DCD777 would of been a better one but rest of set is solid

I would say definitely YES. Ignore the "brushless" hype, yes, there are cases where that is a superior choice but for most use it's really not that important. I have a whole set of old Ryobi (bought...

Not sure if serious? Dewalt is a distant 3rd among the big 3. Milwaukee and Makita are both far superior brands.
