They are kind of overpriced, but they actually do last. I am sitting a 25 year old Aeron and it looks and works good as new.

Purchased an aeron online from camodernhome since there is no sales tax. Not a huge savings, but better than 5% for those in higher sales tax states since office designs and smart furniture charge...

I was basing it off of the the base model ($855 without discount) not the fully loaded one.

These chairs do last, but they are horrible for ergonomics. A steelcase leap v2 can be had for about 400 used same lifetime warranty on the moving parts and is infinitely better ergonomically also...

Stealcase leap was a better chair for me. I highly advise you go sit on one if you haven't before buying. Also, I'm a bit confused by the price of the chair as the fully loaded one is around...
