Heads up - it doesn't actually let you choose a color, it can only alternate between white and flashing between red/green/blue. "Two mode warm white light and red, green and blue flash"

Does that mean 12 LED lights for the 24 feet string you get? They're set 2 feet apart. That's $0.83 per LED. Edit to add that I see similar item on walmart and it does look like only 12 LEDs. ...

These lights rarely go under $20. And why would the discount be more than $5, the ad says ending price ends up being $10 which is $5.95 off.

It's 90 days which is the usual for lights like these. If that's bugging you so much you could buy it with a credit card that offers extended warranty on purchased items
