It's the drill i assume you find lacking? I would be very interested in what these couldnt do around the house.

Agreed! This years Holiday tool deals (from every source) are no where near what the past few years have been including the Milwaukee M12 lineup! Makes sense however as a strong economy means...

I think it has been at this price for a while. They had a deal that ended two days ago, same tools but (2) 2.0 batteries and a packout (the one that sells for $69) for $199. I debated between the two...

And pay with Mastercard for another $30 in points... That's the clincher.

Likely to return it for a better black friday deal. HD easier to return.

Same here. The DeWalt 12v Xtreme is a little less expensive and more ergonomic (for me) but the M12 lineup is way more extensive.

If you are only considering 12V tools, I don't see any reason to look at DeWalt other than pure brand loyalty.

Only 152 right now with the link I posted above plus the $22.80 bonus points.

It does come with one heavier battery too. Ive been in the 18v Rigid line for years and love them, but I needed a nice ratchet. Bought a 3/8" fuel, then bought a few more tools via toolup.com...

The only time I felt like my M12 fuel could not hang was when I was rebuilding a deck. The M12 driver was powerful enough to drive the deck fasteners but it was starting to overheat and leak some...

This is warm. Home Depot runs tool deals pretty often. I got this set + free rotary tool a few months back for $199. There were other free tools to choose from but I chose the rotary tool to replace...

I bought this kit "on sale" for $195 a couple years ago and love it. Hammer drill is great for predrilling for tapcons of any reasonable size. Wouldn't want to use it for dozens of 1/2" holes but...

Why wouldn't it? I used my PayPal mastercard to take advantage of masterpass deals before.

Yes they are an authorized dealer as seen here in the shop online tab https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Buy-Now You could use the points to buy a drill bit set or some bits. Seems like a pretty slick...

Wow. Having a hard time figuring out committing to DeWalt or Milwaukee!

As a homeowner m12 would cover everything. And if you get into M18, the chargers are better and will cover both.

That seems like a good deal. Is Factory Authorized Outlet an authorized dealer? I've heard mixed comments on whether or not that matters for warranty work...

From what I’ve been buying, it’s looking like 20v DeWalt and 12v Milwaukee here. But potentially rethinking things - as a basic homeowner, maybe the 12v Milwaukee would cover my needs...

Just have to remember to use the points. I start leaving appt reminders on my calendar for them and treat it like Amazon to buy things I normally would anyway.

I think the Milwaukee ecosystem has more tools, and they've committed to the M12 and M18 battery platforms where dewalt seems to release something new every couple years. Longer runtime, more...

I got this set 2 or 3 years ago for $199 with the hard case. The case is definitely better than the bag and costs more to manufacture. They are likely to change the battery tech soon so this is not a...

The DeWalt XR set really isn't much bigger or heavier but the drill has a 1/2" chuck... or you could go DeWalt Atom line from HD which is a compact 20v line. DeWalt has a lot of tools you can expand...

I have this M12 fuel set and a dewalt 20v brushless set. I'm an avid DIYer, from electrical, plumbing, framing, tile etc. I originally bought the M12 system because it's smaller and can fit in...

Looks like you are correct. My local HD has 5 in stock though. Buy a coupon on ebay and save a few bucks more.

as a "basic homeowner", these Fuel tools are still way overkill... these things are fantastic for their size, i grab them more often than my Ridgid 18V tools when I'm working outside on...

I recall this same set (not the old one) for $150 online only at Home Depot last Black Friday. Still mad I didn’t get it at that price. 😝

This is a good deal for their everyday price, but everyone needs to remember that every Black Friday or Christmas time these things go on sale for this price with an additional tool that you can pick...

various people here have mentioned some of the differences: the regular m12 drill is a 3/8" traditional drill/driver while the fuel m12 drill is a beefier 1/2" chuck hammer drill/driver the...
