This is a good deal for their everyday price, but everyone needs to remember that every Black Friday or Christmas time these things go on sale for this price with an additional tool that you can pick...

That seems like a good deal. Is Factory Authorized Outlet an authorized dealer? I've heard mixed comments on whether or not that matters for warranty work...

This echoes my experience with Milwaukee bits.

various people here have mentioned some of the differences: the regular m12 drill is a 3/8" traditional drill/driver while the fuel m12 drill is a beefier 1/2" chuck hammer drill/driver the...

And pay with Mastercard for another $30 in points... That's the clincher.

Exactly. And I can sell my new brushed versions to recoup even more of the cost.

Likely to return it for a better black friday deal. HD easier to return.

I bought this kit on sale at $199 and use it all the time - I never even use my 20V cordless tools much anymore. This is the brushless tool set! The 2598-22 M12 FUEL Brushless 2-Tool Combo Kit...

Just confirming, these vs the regular M12, it's just the longer run time, right?

$26.85 cheaper here https://www.urlhasbeenblocked.com/shop/factory-authorized-outlet/product/MWE-2598-22/ plus $22.80 in points.

From what I’ve been buying, it’s looking like 20v DeWalt and 12v Milwaukee here. But potentially rethinking things - as a basic homeowner, maybe the 12v Milwaukee would cover my needs...

I'm so vested in the ryobi brushless and ecosystem. Have a few m12 tools now since I sold off my nextec on ebay. But the sheer variety of ryobi tools I have, I think I need to not buy any more tools....

The m12 fuel hammer drill in this kit is a 1/2" chuck thats a big part of its value proposition. Otherwise I mostly agree with your assessment. Unless you are using it overhead or constantly carrying...

I recall this same set (not the old one) for $150 online only at Home Depot last Black Friday. Still mad I didn’t get it at that price. 😝

I am just a home owner and own this set. It’s great. It works for “most” projects. But this is definitely not a stand alone set. There have been many times where I needed something stronger. I...

yeah it's been this price for awhile. I think you made the right choice for the packout deal, I missed that one. I'm kinda hoping they have a similar packout deal for black friday or maybe include...

And more power. Fuel is equal or better than some 2nd and 3rd tier 18V options from lesser brands.

Yeah I've paid $199 for this kit and got the m12 rachet free with it a couple months ago. M12 fuel is awesome though, barely need 18v tools ever. But the regular m12 rachet is better.

YES!!! Every damn deal people post here in the tool section can currently be beat by urlhasbeenblocked but people seem to ignore when i post that as an option. The urlhasbeenblocked deal for this set is WAY better...

I have like 7 credit cards and not one mastercard.... i'll just have to settle for the 15% in points and the 15% off. I wonder if a prepaid mastercard would work?

The DeWalt XR set really isn't much bigger or heavier but the drill has a 1/2" chuck... or you could go DeWalt Atom line from HD which is a compact 20v line. DeWalt has a lot of tools you can expand...

I have the Milwaukee shockwave set that's on sale for $15. No issues with it and I've been using it every weekend for at least 6 months. I like the case too.

I just ordered from urlhasbeenblocked. To got the additional $26.85 off, you need to use the "HOME15" coupon code during the checkout. Thanks Evann!!

To add to the urlhasbeenblocked deal, you can get an additional $30 in points when paying with Mastercard. That should sweeten that deal a bit.

Yeah, you get $52.80 in points if you use a mastercard on top of it only costing $152.xx. great deal if you do it that way.

Agreed! This years Holiday tool deals (from every source) are no where near what the past few years have been including the Milwaukee M12 lineup! Makes sense however as a strong economy means...

Same here. The DeWalt 12v Xtreme is a little less expensive and more ergonomic (for me) but the M12 lineup is way more extensive.
Post #132153304 added 11-21-2019 10:07 AM by Engineered_logic in Deal Talk
If you are only considering 12V tools, I don't see any reason to look at DeWalt other than pure brand loyalty.
Post #132149677 added 11-21-2019 8:43 AM by AAAmagic in Deal Talk
Wow. Having a hard time figuring out committing to DeWalt or Milwaukee!

As a homeowner m12 would cover everything. And if you get into M18, the chargers are better and will cover both.

A few years ago you got a free tool with this, plus it came with a hardcase.

I think it has been at this price for a while. They had a deal that ended two days ago, same tools but (2) 2.0 batteries and a packout (the one that sells for $69) for $199. I debated between the two...

Have this set. Freaking BEASTS. Any homeowner will have no problem getting by with this set. The hammer drill function is a huge benefit in this size. Can easily drill into concrete for small anchors...
