I would say these are more transparent with more detail and articulation. Their sound is more forward also. It all depends what your preference in sound but can’t really go wrong with either.

Well no one can tell you how these will sound to you but Focal makes very nice speakers. IMO the 3070 would have no problem driving these speakers and would be an outstanding set up if set up...

Yeah this is due to how the distributor or reseller agreements work. To be an authorized seller you have to strictly conform to Focal's pricing guidelines. The workaround is to sell them as open box....
