Well if this is true “ I am yet to hear anything remotely close to Sonus Faber sound.” I would say that is good news for many reasons. In the long run you will save money. You will have them...

I doubt most people have $4500 in just speakers. Maybe closer to that if you add in dual subs and a nice receiver.

You are both wrong. CD is PCM digital sampling. It is not compressed but it is not lossless audio either. Any digitization is a lossy process. What you refer FLAC is a lossless compression vs MP3 is...

So I’m going to guess the 805’s are set up for 2 channel music? If so and you’re looking for a separate HT setup. I would say that the Focal’s would be more to your liking. I found that the...

That's what I was hoping you meant and not the other way around. There a lot of Klipsch fan boys out there.

Wrong. They are equivalent to FLAC, or lossless audio.

If you're talking about SACD might agree but not CD's, big difference. All CD's are not created equal also.

I would say these are more transparent with more detail and articulation. Their sound is more forward also. It all depends what your preference in sound but can’t really go wrong with either.

You simply should not buy speaks based on spec., especially at this price level. You need to hear them in person.

Yes. Great speakers, but ugly as hell.

Well no one can tell you how these will sound to you but Focal makes very nice speakers. IMO the 3070 would have no problem driving these speakers and would be an outstanding set up if set up...

IMO these are clearly better than Klipsch Premiers.

So on your 1st question I’m going to guess you mean the current in ceiling speakers are Klipsch brand and could you keep using them with these Focal’s ? Yes you can, how they sound and perform will...

Terrible match to these. If you have $5k in speakers you would be budgeting about 1/2 that for the electronics to run them. Either separates or a top of the line AVR

Bowers cheaply made in China (except 800 series) with a massive markup and rarely any discounting. Focal hand made in France with big discounts. Sure, go pay retail at BB for your Chinese made...

Yeah this is due to how the distributor or reseller agreements work. To be an authorized seller you have to strictly conform to Focal's pricing guidelines. The workaround is to sell them as open box....

Then I take it you have seriously compromised hearing. Are these the best speakers for $4k? Probably not, as I can think of others I would consider first. Barely better than a Polk soundbar?...
