Yes; that is how you configure multiple wireless routers. For 2.4 GHz, if you have 3 routers, only use the non-overlapping channels 1, 6, 11. If you have 2 routers, use 3 and 11.

The advantage of this one is that you can install custom Merlin firmware on it. You cannot do this on ax11000.

Personally I would buy GT-AC5300, its tri-band, if you want to build mesh later on you can use on the band for backhaul, also reach on GT-AC5300 should be better with 8 antennas.
