My kids have these and they’re still unbelievably slow, but it’s less than $100, comes with two free replacements for when and if they destroy them and has some decent learning games they can access....

I had the 7 and it was so slow. 8 was much better. It's still slower than the iPad but at this price point it's hard to compare the two

I would have them use this tablet since it comes with FreeTime. A lot of learning games and programs on there for kids.

We're very happy with ours, we have two, one for each kid. They love their tablets, tons of good learning games too. I'd highly suggest them, I've never seen ads nor any slowness issues.

Subscription is something like $5 a month to continue it. For the cost of the tablets buy a new one for another free year and give it as a gift or give the old one to someone.
