You're right, i'm getting about 40 MB/s (320 Mbps) no matter what I try, definitely in the USB 2.0 range.

Received mine as well. The cables aren't USB 3.0 though. Disk speed tests for my NVME external drive is ~40 MB/s when it could be 900+. It would have been a killer deal if they were.

I called my local store. I gave the item number to the CostCo representative who answered, and he told me that this is a CostCo.com item only and not available in stores.
