You're right except with this deal the pricepoint is by far better than anything you'll touch with llithium, even factoring overall life of each. Even if this dies in 4 years from digging too deep...

Lithium does not work below 36 degree, lead acid still works fine even 0 degree. For 299, it’s no brainer, buying all the parts costs more than 300 dollar, and this one even come with a nice case...
