I have four Tp-link switches installed, have been using them for over a year. No issues whatsoever, very happy. My guess is most of the issues/complaints are related to lack of a neutral wire.

So I did a dimmer switch before on a 3 switch system and found you have to use one of the end switches. If you try installing in the center switch it will not work. Not sure if this helps.

As long as they are decora style switches, then you should have no problem. You can replace just 1 switch in a 3 gang plate.

I had this product. In hindsight I’d would pick a z wave compatible switch & hub from the likes of Aeon Labs or Hubitat. Faster response and can work locally.
