Not that big of a deal to have your fronts not match your rears, IMO. Pretty common for folks to use their old speakers as their surrounds.

Yes, the 590s are in a whole other league from the Pioneers. Not to say they’re bad; but the msrp on the pioneers is about 1/4 that of the JBLs....

The 520C is a fine center channel. I don’t use it at reference levels, but it gets out of the way (you don’t immediately think the sound is coming from a speaker) and sounds good at various seating...
