I was leaning towards the 6 series from Costco but $80 more and 1 year less warranty might be worth it for the Vizio. But to each their own, probably can't go wrong with either.

The H8f is a fine unit. The TCl just handles motion far better and is significantly brighter. So if you watch a lot of sports in a lit room, you're better off with the TCL.

Exactly. You have to pay A LOT more for a Samsung that's as good as the higher end TCL, Vizio, and Hisense; all of which are cheaper. You're basically paying extra for brand name.

This is the same model as the Costco 400 dollar TCL 55R613 so it is the 2018 TCL 6 Series. It's the best 400 dollar 55 inch TV that you can get right now in my opinion.
