Fantastic stand. I sold mine though. I couldn't justify the amount of floor space this took up. If I used a miter saw everyday or had a larger workshop, this would be perfect.

I had the same issue with my Delta miter saw. I used a piece of slotted angle iron at the back. Works great and doesn't affect the height/weight.

It works well for me. It may be high for some but I like having only one stand for both and it folds quite well. Also the wheels are huge so it makes it easy to carry around.

If the Hitachi mounts aren't in-line front to back, won't work without mounting the Hitachi to a board (e.g. 1/2" plywood) and attaching the board to the quick release arms.
