Got this last year with the miter saw. It's great and easy to fold. Half price is good, if only they'd put some tools half off. Hmm, showing $199 here Bet it's cause it's after midnight for...

Try changing your zipcode to 02072 and see if it gives you the lower price? Wonder if there is something region specific about this since its past midnight on the east coast.

Fantastic stand. I sold mine though. I couldn't justify the amount of floor space this took up. If I used a miter saw everyday or had a larger workshop, this would be perfect.

I have no problem at all with in store credit either. I guess it comes down to who is working the desk and if they are willing to process a return for credit.

Well made, works also well as table with piece of plywood on top. Love the extensions for easy cuts to length on boards.

I had the same issue with my Delta miter saw. I used a piece of slotted angle iron at the back. Works great and doesn't affect the height/weight.

Solid stand. Used one last year to attach a Dewalt planer (just grab scrap plywood and a couple of bolts / nuts) and it’s been solid ever since. In for another, for a miter saw this time.

If the Hitachi mounts aren't in-line front to back, won't work without mounting the Hitachi to a board (e.g. 1/2" plywood) and attaching the board to the quick release arms.

Depends on if you want to move your saw around while on the stand. Doesn’t look like the Kobalt could do that unless you pick up the whole unit.

Isn’t this a little tall for a table saw? If I were to put my job site table saw on this it would be almost to my chest and I am 6ft tall. Not exactly easy or safe to work with.
