It should. the specs for the Celstron case made for the 8se are 29" x 17.75" x 9.25" this case is 28 x 19 x 13

Save money! If you want to look at small spots of light in the sky, buy a string of LEDs and hang them between a couple of trees. These can actually better than stars if you buy color changing ones....

You can view two planets and the moon at the city. Possibly the Orion Nebula. Telescopes are just really best used outside the city where you can view more objects like Nebulas and star clusters.

This would be VERY difficult to use for Astrophotography. But if you want to do super short exposures, this will still work. It will be very hard to polar align without spending extra for something...
