I’m conflicted. Do I get last year’s E8 model (the higher level model) or the more modern lower tier model (C9). What are some of the improvements from 2018? Edit: never mind, it’s hdmi 2.1.
Post #132866078 added 12-02-2019 10:04 AM by spectheintro in Deal Talk
This is a good price, but the C9 for $100 more is a much better buy because of its future proofing.

HDMI 2.1 (VRR) and eARC, plus better gray uniformity. The C9 is more future proof than the E8.

It does? I was just there yesterday shopping and they had a B8(or was it 9?) for 2200.

Do you have burn-in? LG has been replacing 6 & 7 series panels with burn-in lately, even if they are out of warranty. It’s worth a shot.

Is E9 better than C9?
Post #132990497 added 12-04-2019 8:40 AM by smachine in Deal Talk
I wouldn't call $1599 from an authorized seller via Google shopping a scam. Lowest price the C9 has been. Wouldn't expect much lower prices unless it's a clearance / open box YMMV type deal.

C8, month 10. Zero burn-in. Varied content, all anti-burn-in settings on.
