The Ryzen 3500 is much newer technology than 8th gen i5. The Acer doesn't have a backlit keyboard, and it is 33% more expensive than this one.

There was a shortage of i3 G1 chips so most units came with i5 G4 CPUs instead. I was at Costco today and the sales associate told me he thinks they still come with i5’s but he couldn’t guarantee it....

Download windows from wherever and use Rufus, a little freeware program, to copy the iso to a bootable thumb drive. Piece of cake.
