You need to throw them in the dryer once in a while with some tennis balls to fluff them up - then they will stay fluffy for a few months. Down is wayyyy better than feathers my friend.

Does not seem that you have owned high fill power down jackets and understand their compression characteristics. "Down" pillows are made from "down feathers" not actual down.
