The way the tent industry counts how many people can fit into a tent is not at all the way you or I would want to. Take the number the manufacturer claims and divide by 1.5 if you are with a family....

Some state parks, especially in Maryland, limit tent size but limiting where you can put your tent. I've had this issue twice but was able to make the tent fit, barely, but using coolers on the edges...
