Not really. I mean last year Home Depot had the inflator with 2 batteries for $100. You can find the inflator on sale for $60 and the cost of a 4.0 aH M12 battery is about $40 if you shop around...

He’s not wrong, but the smaller one uses M12 batteries to charge usb devices likes phones. It can charge M12 batteries using a Ian wall plug, but it’s not really meant for that.

Not easily, but it is the most durable inflator hose I've eve had. I got one of these on release day in march 2017, no problems, and I use it a bunch.
