Excellent value for first time homeowners and casual project people. I have everything in the picture except for the sander and reciprocating saw and they all get the job done. I've never had a Ryobi...

paying with PayPal and Chase freedom gives 5% cash back. Home Depot is relatively stingy with coupons.

Looks like this finally expired. Picked it up like a week ago. Based on what they have now, I think it was a pretty good deal of a kit. Might not need the leaf blower, but hey still better priced...

You are right. Thanks for the correction. And that HD search was exactly what I did wrong. Forgot to double check the model number on the search result.

Maybe I am missing something, but I am pretty sure the P505 is a 5.5" circular saw. Typing "Ryobi P505" into the Home Depot search returns this 6.5" saw which is actually model P507. The P505...

There are better tools out there but this is a good buy for the price. Great for a homeowner looking to start their tool collection.

This is actually one of the most useful packages ive seen. Obv the drill/driver are super useful. But I would use the Saw, Sander, oscillating tool, sawzal, and even the vacuum a ton. The Light...

As a former contractor who has had regular and continued exposure to high end tools (Dewalt, Ryobi (sorry,I meant Milwaukee)), etc.), I can tell you that for some jobs, it’s nice to have “burner”...

Tool choice could be better... Brad nailer would have been a good addition or substitution for the last 2 or 3 “Tools”.

I wish they had an adapter that would let me combine two of their 18V batteries into one 40V battery so I don’t need to keep separate chargers and batteries for all my Ryobi tools.

What is the saw? P519? Never heard of it. I thought their latest one is brushless P517. quote: Reciprocating Saw: 1 in. Stroke Length and 3,400 SPM (Strokes per Minute) for up to 60% faster cutting...

I’m not a Ryobi fan. They aren’t as well built as Milwaukee and DeWalt. I think it makes far more sense to buy into Milwaukee or DeWalt.

My contractor buddy uses Ryobi and swears buy them. Definitely a solid deal

I kinda like this 6 tool bundle for $229 better. Weed wacker and hand vac don't do much for me. Palm sander would be awesome....when I need it years from now. Smaller kit also has 1.3a...

It's still a joke there are the most returned tools and resold to third parties
Post #133036814 added 12-05-2019 7:47 AM by zebulonj23 in Deal Talk
Not much. Barely worth the hassle in my opinion. Most people know nothing about Ryobi and don't care. Weed eater maybe 30 but 20 for a faster sale... And when in season. Batteries and charger maybe...

^ this. i have ryobi for all cordless for heavy hitting, nothing beats corded and that's where my really expensive dewalt and bosch stuff comes in (ie SDS, worm drive saw, heavy duty recip, etc)...
Post #133044497 added 12-05-2019 10:32 AM by yunkzo in Deal Talk
I did some research about Ryobi's recip saws recently. They have P514, P515, P516, and P517, for old to new, cheap to expensive. P517 is the brushless one. The one included in the bundle (P519)...

Is the Ryobi tools more plastic made material or are these heavy duty quality?
Post #133039652 added 12-05-2019 8:50 AM by daddyfair in Deal Talk
Laf, why all the downvotes for this? Yes there are far better tools out there, but Ryobi are really, good tools these days, especially for the price, even for professional contractors. I see them...
