I agree. urlhasbeenblocked app devices are frowned upon so good for me (lower price). They have worked very well and also inform how much energy i am consuming and are rated to work at 15 amp.

Depends what the current draw is per light string. If they're LEDs, then you're probably safe. Incandescent, probably not. But again, it depends on what the strings say.

IMO, yes. i have both and the TP link/KASA plugs are way better and the app lets you get into more detail with scheduling. i have many of these now.
