The A6500 is an amazing camera and well worth the money. I had it for two years and it was great. The only reason I upgraded to the A7III as soon as I did was because of the prime day price mistake....

It might be your white balance settings? They did improve the color science with later models. The colors and skin tones on my 6400 are great especially using the sigma lenses.

I doubt that. Anyways I have friend in UK worst case would be mailing over for service. Yes you are right the gap is not that significant considering warranty.
