Should be decent but honestly 24” is the max for FHD. If you are going to go with 27” or bigger QHD is the way to go.

Yeah I should've known better than to engage. The poster didn't seem like a jerk but I don't get why they told me to "calm down" when I was making a valid point AND I answered the lazily asked...

27+", IPS, 75hz, Freesync. Hits all the checkboxes. I'd buy if I didn't get in on the 32" 1440P AOC monitor with the same IPS, 75hz, and freesync.

Frameless my a$$.. Looks nothing like that in real life..

For some those results are OK, and anyone giving it a bad review because of that didn't do their research beforehand. For me it's a perfect 2nd or 3rd companion monitor used exclusively for...

I don't have THIS monitor, but I have a cheap 27" 1080p I bought for work while at home. For that, it's great. I wouldn't game on it or process professional pictures or anything. But it's great...

careful with taking apart the monitor. While mocking everything up the ribbon cables stopped working from being unbent/bent and with the backing plate off I broke the screen! It is very fragile and...

How is this vs the Dell 27" ips 1080p free sync that's about the same price right now?

True but in a general sense no this isn't easily mountable. You would literally have to cut the bottom part of the stand cause the IO is part of the stand. Really hate that they just don't...

no display port, which i believe means no freesync via nvidia

I've got a Monoprice 32" VA panel at 1920x1080 and...well, I love it. Suits my 40's-ish eyes perfectly! ;)

Is the stand removable? If so, may be possible to make a mount or one may be available.

Does anyone have any experience and can they comment on whether 27 inches is too much for 1080p? I'm using a 23" right now, been using it for nearly 8 years now and it's done me well. But, this is...

That was answered in the beginning comments of the thread. There aren't many to read...the answer is no.

Yes, it compels them to post the same boring, tired joke in every AOC thread posted on SD

Should be fine with the eye strain. Honestly you can download a program called F.Lux, where you can set your monitors "temperature" if it's starting to strain your eye. You can also set it based on...

cutting is a good option but what about removing back cover and doing something with it? like using a strong cement to glue something on the outside that would support a mounting plate or bracket

This is like going through the line building your burrito at chipotle . When they ask you which meat you want with your rice, and you say “hamburger meat”. The person building the burrito says “we...

Good price for a Frameless 27" IPS with 75Hz and Freesync. Was looking at this too see if I want to add 2 of this to my 34 inch ultrawide and make a triple monitor setup. Yes it's overkill lol. ...

This is the normal price for the 21inch model. This thing is super thin! I'm currently making a smart calendar like project using one of these displays. After disassembly the picture frame will be...

Yeah the IO is part of the stand too so even if you want to remove that and mount it somehow you can't. But still good enough for what I was looking for.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. 1080p at 27” is atrocious to me because it’s so pixelated. Maybe some of these old geezers need lasik or an updated prescription for glasses.

really. i'm not familiar with any street food joints at all. maybe. i only have plans and ideas for monitors that don't have screw holes for mounts.

This cracks me up, 'cause you lack the "vision" to imagine what your own eyes will be like after decades of staring at monitors in dimly lit rooms. Alas, neither surgery nor glasses can help your...

How is this monitor on eye strain? I plan on using this in the office, staring at it ~8 hours a day, mostly reading PDFs and data entry. Could someone comment please based on their experience or...

This monitor has terrible reviews due to the inherent low resolution and blurriness that comes from it being 1080p 27". If you don't mind that it's a good buy.
Post #133212665 added 12-09-2019 6:17 PM by kingjuno23 in Deal Talk
Sure maybe that's an option. Seems like from other posters on this thread this can't be mounted but perhaps this can be a pet project for the brave. I wasn’t riled up or angry in the least so no need...
