HP charges a flat 15% restocking fee that isn't waived even if you return a factory sealed laptop. I learnt the hard way. So assume that 15% of the purchase price is at risk before you buy anything...

You can add backlit keyboard but only on different colors. So you have to pay $10 or $15 to get Silver or Chalkboard black color. Then you get the option to pay Another $30 for back lit keyboard.
