FWIW BKF also gets rid of yellow armpits on shirts. Never tried the liquid one but the powder works wonders.

Part of the effectiveness of the powder is in the conversion of the powder into paste, which helps draw the stains out. Since the liquid is already in liquid form, it doesn’t have that extra umph.
