Yep. That's why I always go to the specs and look at "NATIVE RESOLUTION" which will tell if it's 1080p or 720p or 4k.

Yep, I knew it was too good to be true. Native resolution is 1080p, but it will accept a 4K input and down-sample to display as a 1080p image.

Imo it is. It has double the contrast ratio and HDR which seems to be praised on this pj. I just purchased a refurb 4k/hdr pj for twice this cost so take it as you will.
